Hasbro has the monopoly when it comes to releasing Monopoly games and they have made it a habit of releasing themed versions of Monopoly. These themed versions usually include popular TV series of videogames like Stranger Things, Avengers, Fortnite, Friends, Rick and Morty, Spongebob Squarepants and the list goes on.
Now we can also add to that list Animal Crossing New Horizons. The immensely popular Nintendo Switch game keeps people glued to their screens, so this boardgame version will help parents pry their kids away from their screens, while also teaching them that you can only spend your money once.
The Monopoly Animal Crossing New Horizons boardgame will be available next August, but is already up for pre-order on many webshops, including Amazon.
