Frontier Developments have announced that they are to release F1 Manager 2022 this coming summer. There have been Formula 1 management games before, but this is the first one that is carrying an official F1 license, meaning that, in theory, they can use the official logo’s, team names and actual drivers. The first teaser trailer doesn’t actually show that, so it is uncertain whether that is the case.
The game will feature every aspect of what is involved in managing an actual Formula 1 team, as you can develop the car and it’s parts in the factory, choose your drivers and manage the whole team during the whole race weekend. As with most management games, this will also test your budget management skills.
Frontier Developments are a UK based developer known for Elite Dangerous and other management games like Planet Coaster and Jurrasic World Evolution.
F1 Manager 2022 will be available on Playstation 4, Playstation 5, XBox Series S/X, XBox One and on PC through Steam and the Epic Gamestore.
