Like any other place in the world, Tokyo has its fair share of stationary camera’s streaming live and there’s also a good amount of prerecorded dashcam footage taking you through the city. Another category is cyclists with (presumably) GoPro camera’s on their head. The good thing about that it’s that you get a better view of the city, as these obviously drive way slower than car dashcams do.
Now I personally have some experience cycling through Bangkok and I can tell you that it’s pretty much a horrid experience. Motorized traffic just doesn’t care about any other traffic that is slower then itself. From what I have now seen from these videos in Tokyo, it’s not that much better.
