This coming wednesday Astro (Hiroshi Hasegawa) and Kohei will perform at WORM, Rotterdam as part of the Camera Japan festival.

Astro HASEGAWA Hiroshi is best known as the founding member of the Japanese noise legends C.C.C.C. With his solo unit Astro, HASEGAWA focuses on music that stems from an analogue mindset, conjuring feverish dreamscapes from oscillators, ring modulators and field recordings. Astro's music masterfully drifts between dreamy drones and psychedelically charged Japanese noise.
Kouhei One of the most compelling abstract beat wizards of late is Osaka-born MATSUNAGA Kouhei. Kouhei catered to music connoisseurs worldwide with excellent reductionist electronica releases on acclaimed labels such as Mille Plateaux and Raster-Noton. In his more recent work, MATSUNAGA's hardcore techno and hiphop roots come to the fore.
